Aspen, Colorado is in the west central part of the beautiful Rocky Mountains in the Colorado River watershed. The Roaring Fork River, as well as Maroon Creek, flow into this picture perfect town offering world class, gold medal fishing.

Internationally renowned as a winter and summer resort and Located high in the Rocky Mountains, Aspen is the 53rd largest city in the state. It is surrounded by the White River National Forest and encompasses 3.66 square miles.

The Aspen Golf & Tennis Club provides a challenging 18-hole course set in the heart of the Rockies just minutes from downtown Aspen. This spectacular course is complete with an elegant, 6500 square foot club house featuring a fully stocked golf & tennis pro-shop, lessons, driving range, chipping and putting greens, cart rental and full service locker facilities. Instruction is available by PGA staff. Don't forget to stop by the fabulous Shlomo's on the Green Restaurant for a tantalizing array of fine foods and beverages.

The Aspen Golf and Tennis Club now offers six new Har/Tru tennis courts at 39551 Highway 82, as well as two open air courts at our Iselin Park facility on Maroon Creek Road at the Aspen Recreation Center Complex. Clinics, lessons, camps and tournaments are offered throughout the season.

The Aspen Ice Garden has a single surface (85' x 185') which has been referred to by many figure and hockey skaters alike as one of the best maintained surfaces in the region.

The Lewis Ice Arena includes an NHL regulation size ice surface (85' x 200'), grandstand seating for 450, and a comfortable lobby. A skate shop offers precision sharpening and skate rentals. There are multiple team locker and shower rooms equipped for full ADA accessibility.

The James E. Moore Pool has been a part of the Aspen Parks & Recreation Department for over 30 years. Two pools are in the new Aspen Recreation Center natatorium. One pool is a 25-yard, six lane, 4 to 12- foot deep competitive pool with a one meter diving board. The second pool is a zero to 4-foot deep recreation pool, complete with a two-story slide, lazy river and spray features to keep even the youngest child entertained.

The Aspen CO Parks and Recreation Department offers many different camps to keep kids busy and having fun. They're always on top of current and fun activities to keep things exciting and new. They also offer resources for different childcare programs to help parents feel secure and informed of who's caring for their children.
